Guru Peter Miller of Millers Martial Arts
I hosted a seminar for Peter Miller to come to the Academy, in order to show the attendees 'extracts' from his fight system. His principles are functional and the three hours were thoroughly enjoyed by my students and other participants.
Three of my students have enrolled on his Instructorship Programme with my blessing.

Maul Mornie of Silat Suffian Bela Diri
I, together with a number of the students attended a seminar hosted by Guro John James of Rapid Arnis.
The gentleman teaching the seminar is Maul Mornie of Silat Suffian Bela Diri. He hails from Brunei, and travels the world teaching his family system of bladed weaponry. Maul has become a good friend. He taught unarmed knife disarm and dislocation.

Mission Statement of the Academy
The aim of the Academy is to encourage the student to explore their own individuality, without restriction or prejudice from external influences. You are only responsible for your own being and have one opportunity to live your life.
I do not profess to have the best fight system; my main concern is the student's ability to protect him/herself should the need arise.
Owing to my history with TCFS, it has enabled me to think more towards the Mixed Martial Art approach; that is to say to enable oneself to adapt a particular discipline to a given situation for street application. We cannot ignore the very fact that a street attack bears no rules or etiquette.
